She didn't like the way the tiny brunette looked at her. Really looked at her, like she wasn't afraid of her, like she knew what she was. She gave her the warmest smile she could muster up, but the girl seemed to see right through her. It was quite unsettling. For the millionth time in her life she wished she had Edward's power for just a few moments. She did have her own power though, and sometimes if she focused really hard...
Nothing. Curious. She certainly didn't smell like a wolf.
Alice tried to out it out of her mind and kept walking.
